Five years ago, Bark + Shout began with a borrowed sewing machine, and a simple thought: the things we make for our dogs should be as thoughtful, functional, and beautifully designed as the things we choose for ourselves.
From that quiet beginning, the brand quickly grew into a small UK-based micro-manufacturer designing and producing over 5,000 pieces of pet gear, one innovation at a time. From the viral AirTag Dog Collar to an adjustable leash and reimagined dog harness, every piece was built with intention, stand out features, and a relentless desire to do things differently.
The founders invested in specialised sewing machines, learned new materials from scratch, and fought through the complexities of manufacturing to bring new ideas to life. Social media carried the designs into millions of hands, with over 50 million views and over 150,000 followers joining the journey.
For five years, Bark + Shout climbed steadily and established as one of the most exciting new brands in the pet accessories space.
But behind the scenes, everything was about to change.
The Turning Point
In early 2025, the direction of the business shifted dramatically.
The founders drifted apart and restructuring followed. Unexpected legal issues halted operations almost overnight.
This was the hardest chapter in the story to date.
No marketing. No manufacturing. No communication. Just silence.
Orders were delayed, communication broke down, and valued customers - people who trusted the team - were left waiting, unsure, and understandably frustrated.
For many of you, that silence caused confusion and concern.

These months have been our refining process.
We returned to the raw materials of the craft - examining every process, rebuilding our systems, redesigning manufacturing, tightening quality controls, and rewriting the roadmap for our next five years.
From the quiet, something stronger has emerged. Gone are the shortsighted goals of the past. Today’s Bark + Shout has a new vision.
